Everything saves as you change it. Sensitivity and field of view apply live — open this mid-match to feel them.
No controller detected. Pair one in your system Bluetooth settings, then press any button on it.
Default puts crouch/slide on the east button and melee on R3. Tactical swaps them, so your thumb never leaves the aim stick.
In menus: D-pad / stick moves between controls, L1 / R1 changes the highlighted setting, south button selects, north button does the screen’s main action (deploy, start, save), east button goes back.
To change a dropdown or a slider: highlight it, press the south button to start editing (it turns dashed), move left / right, then press south again to confirm. L1 / R1 changes it without entering edit mode.
In a match: R2 fire · L2 aim · south jump · west tap reload, hold to interact · north swap · L1 tactical · R1 lethal · L3 sprint (latches while you hold forward) · Create or the touchpad shows scores · Options pauses.
Press a button on the controller to identify it.
Host controlled. Whoever hosts the match decides these and they apply to everyone in it — in a lobby you joined you can see them and not change them. A CHEATS badge sits in the top-right corner for every player for as long as any of these is on. They switch off when the page reloads.

Full screen gives you the whole display for the game, a wider usable field of view, and fewer frames lost to compositing the browser around it. It is how the game is meant to be read.
You can switch at any time with F11, or from the pause menu.
